Medical Tricorder
The medical tricorder consists of a standard tricorder, to which is added a specialized medical peripheral device (MP). This peripheral, one of a number of dedicated auxiliary computing options available to Starfleet crews, adds many powerful sensor and analysis functions to those used by sickbay personnel onboard the ship.
Default device settings include, but are not limited to: tomographic and micrographic scans, body mechanical processes, organ system function, disease organism infiltration, body electromagnetic conditions, biological antagonists, treatment options, and much more.
