Andor Class
The relatively small freighers of the Andor class are employed for transporter purposes only in the Federation. Moreover, they have a small medical and technical crew onboard to assist other ships in case of an emergency. Usually, these ships are permanently assigned to a starbase or Starfleet facility. There are roughly 47 of these ships in service, but are quickly being phased out in favor of the newer Mosquito class starships.
