Talon class
Small, maneuverable, and hard to hit with conventional weapons, the Talon Class is based off of the runabouts. Not designed for long independent scout missions like the Freedom class, the Talon class is deployed in areas of space for deep penetration where a larger vessel would be detected. The Talon can land on any asteroid or planet, and slip in and out of enemy sensor detection grids. During the Dominion War, these vessels were extensively used to drop security RRT units, commonly referred to as Marines, into strategic position within Dominion Space.
