Meteor Class
Similiar to the Prometheus, this ship was designed as a smaller version of the multi-role, multi-vector attack ship. If necessary, the ship has the capability to split into two parts, either of which has full attack and defense capabilities. Both sections also have a fully functional warp drive. It takes a third less time to construct a vessel in this class, though, than it does to build a Prometheus -- one reason why Starfleet likes this design more.
